Business Development Representative
As a Business Development Representative, you will find, develop, and create new business opportunities for our sales team. You will be responsible for internally sourcing the leads you develop.
You will work with Sales Executives to ensure each lead has a high-quality customer service experience. You will work with leadership to prioritize your efforts against LINQ’s key objectives.
You will be responsible for managing personalized reports and communicating to your manager the progress against your efforts.

First 90 Days Responsibilities
- Learn all products LINQ offers to customers and how to demonstrate value throughout the sales process
- Learn to leverage Salesforce, Salesloft, and other prospecting tools
- Own your own territory – responsible for developing a strategic plan to drive results
- Start booking opportunities and discovery calls for sales reps in your first thirty days
- Manage calendars and nurture opportunities to ensure they attend meetings we book
Additional Responsibilities
- Sourcing prospects, developing opportunities, and selling to small to medium-sized business accounts
- Communicating to generated leads within a set timeline
- Working directly with Inside, Field, and Enterprise Sales teams to develop qualified opportunities
- Proactively engaging and prospecting new business opportunities and customers
- Approximately 50-60 outbound calls and 20-30 emails per day
- Setting 6-7 discovery calls per week
- Consistently meet and/or exceed metrics as defined by the Sales Leadership Team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Background in technology sales or lead generation is a plus
- Ability to be coached, trained, and mentored toward a successful software sales career
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong skills in MS Office
- Desire to grow within an organization
