The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and organizing documents and information for estate planning, corporate, and tax matters. This candidate should have attention to detail and have advanced knowledge of DropBox, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Adobe Acrobat, and efiling procedures for Oregon courts. Preference is given to candidates familiar with Oregon probate.
Responsibilities
- Review and draft probate pleadings, estate planning documents, corporate minute books, and government forms for Oregon and federal matters
- Create and maintain client information for probates, conservatorships, and tax matters
- Facilitate the meeting of attorney’s deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
- Conduct legal research
- Communicate with clients regarding firm matters
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as a paralegal
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate
- Oregon residency
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel
- Internet connection, equipment, and space to work remotely
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
