Job Opportunity: Enterprise Solutions Engineer

Second Front Systems (2F) is on the lookout for a motivated Enterprise Solutions Engineer (SE) to join our fast-growing entrepreneurial team at the intersection of technology and national security. The role is dynamic and diverse within the Growth team, focusing on scaling our Game Warden platform and future products.
- Represent 2F as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) during customer and market-facing engagements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial sales, marketing, customer success, product, business development, and government engagement teams
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise Account Executive to move prospects through the Sales Pipeline
- Participate in Go-To-Market efforts, including introduction calls, technical sales presentations, RFP/RFI responses, product demonstrations, architecture design discussions, and technical workshops
- Develop in-depth technical knowledge of Second Front products and serve as a technical SME internally and externally
- Analyze and compile competitor feedback and market research
- Track customer feedback and collaborate with 2F product teams to align roadmaps with demand signals
- Develop and review marketing content (blogs, posts, etc.) and technical documentation to support business development
- Evaluate complex cloud application architectures for compatibility with the Game Warden hosting platform, considering federal compliance requirements
- Travel as needed to industry conferences and events
Requirements:
- A self-starter who excels independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a similar role with a strong track record of success in supporting complex, enterprise SaaS customers
- Experience in a client-facing role, ideally within the Defense Industrial Base
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; certification is a plus
- Senior-level experience in a technical role, demonstrating creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on software development, networking, or DevOps experience, preferably with cloud technologies
- Ability to maintain composure in critical situations and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Effective communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
- Previous experience, knowledge, or certifications in cybersecurity
- Experience with our tech stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Istio, Git, Gitlab, Terraform, Relational DBs
- Experience in a startup environment
- Adaptability to changing procedures in near-real time
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Active Security Clearance (TS-SCI)
