Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deployment Manager to join our team in the RNG industry. The Deployment Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and executing RNG projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. This position requires a strong understanding of RNG production processes, project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, for RNG deployment projects.
- Oversee the execution of RNG projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery.
Resource Management:
- Manage and allocate project resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Collaborate with HR and department heads to recruit and onboard project-specific personnel as needed.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all RNG deployment projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and safety protocols.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including project team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and any issues or changes to key stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
Quality Assurance and Safety:
- Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in RNG production and deployment.
- Prioritize safety by ensuring that all project activities adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, tracking all project-related costs and adjusting as necessary to stay within budget.
- Provide accurate and regular financial reports to senior management.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in RNG deployment projects.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, technicians, contractors, and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of proven experience in project management, specifically in RNG deployment or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of RNG production processes and the RNG industry.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards related to RNG projects.
- Familiarity with financial and budget management.
- PMP or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required for project site visits and meetings.
