Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Coordinator to join the Data Center Power & Control Division Starline Team headquartered in Canonsburg, PA. The Credit Coordinator is responsible for data entering customer invoices into their respective portals, ensuring customer account information is accurate and up to date, maintaining customer interactions database, as well as assisting the Credit Analyst and Credit Manager with additional assignments as needed.
This is a fully REMOTE position.
What Will You Do?
- Enter customer invoices into their respective web portals.
- Prepare and monitor customer statements distributing via email or postal service.
- Obtain customer-appropriate email to ensure accuracy for invoicing.
- Engage customers regarding past due accounts. Log communications activity into respective database.
- Maintain and update customer account information in ERP system.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies on customer accounts, including but not limited to:
- Customer disputes
- Open credits
- Freight charges
- Billing errors
- Sales tax
- Returned materials
- Pull credit reports for new customers via Dunn & Bradstreet.
- Ensure credit applications are completed as needed.
- Screen international customers for compliance via the Export.gov website.
- Monitor existing credit reports and update as situations warrant.
- Monitor customer purchase orders for nonconforming/missing content.
- Process credit card payments via PayTrace.
- Assist Credit Analyst with banking and credit references for new customers.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- Associates degree or commensurate experience.
- 1-year credit and collections experience in a business-to-business setting.
- Experience with ERP system preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to achieve desired results while maintaining positive customer relations.
- Active listening ability; critical thinking skills for anticipating and handling objections.
- Ability to work well with other departments and develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Personal Qualities/Behaviors
- Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
- Performance of this position requires occasional trips to manufacturing areas, requiring the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, approved footwear, and hearing protection.
- Regularly required to stand; walk and communicate with others.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
