About this role:
PlanetBids is seeking a creative self-starter for the role of Client Account Executive. This individual will work alongside clients, providing effective e-procurement services and expertise to government clients in purchasing and construction bidding.
- Provide online and phone support to clients and vendors
- Offer step-by-step instructions for posting, managing, and submitting bids
- Assist with insurance records, contracts, and other procurement-related tasks
- Be competent in basic procurement practices and policies
- Communicate clearly and troubleshoot issues
The Client Account Executive will also be responsible for:
- Resolving client inquiries
- Presenting demonstrations and webinars
- Conducting trainings and attending workshops
- Assisting with marketing duties and contract reviews
- Participating in RFPs and RFIs
- Contributing to company web or print materials
Requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Become a PlanetBids product expert
- Handle unexpected client issues and collaborate with team members
- Brainstorm new ideas for client events and touchpoints
- Communicate effectively to build rapport and present solutions
- Manage incoming calls and support tickets
- Provide outstanding and prompt customer support
- Answer product and service questions
- Record interactions within the support ticketing system
- Coordinate with internal departments
- Conduct demonstrations, webinars, and trainings
- Manage new client implementation and onboarding
- Attend events and conferences
- Assist in RFPs and RFIs, including proposal writing
- Contribute to company materials and assist Sales and Marketing Depts.
- Conduct client and market surveys, data analysis, and reports
- Assist in new product testing
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Required; Associates Degree or higher preferred
- 5 years of public procurement experience strongly preferred
- Proficient knowledge of Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, Edge, Excel, Word, Email, Google Docs
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with a team
- Dedicated and secure remote workspace required
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of PlanetBids, Office 365, and SalesForce is a plus.
