Job Description
Manage assigned book of VSP client business: Serve as an advisor on client service and operations-related issues, within the scope defined by the business area.
Contribute to corporate-wide efforts: Develop efficient and effective processes that enable VSP to service customers and support strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners: Develop strategies to drive growth, retention, and strengthen client relationships and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, brokers, and consultants.
- Market the value of VSP programs, products, and services within each account.
- Facilitate client-related marketing initiatives.
- Develop and manage account plans in collaboration with Market Directors.
- Understand compliance-related items, such as state and/or federal regulations.
- Participate in key client meetings and events as required by the client.
- Manage the implementation process to ensure client accounts are implemented according to requirements and performance standards.
- Manage client contract, compliance, and related activities.
- Collaboratively manage client and member communication strategies and collateral deployment.
- Responsible for report compilation and distribution.
- Proactively monitor clients to identify and escalate problematic issues.
Job Specifications
- College degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of account management experience and/or client service experience.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience participating on client-related project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent account implementations and business needs.
- Adaptability to change and effective work within an agile environment.
- Proven problem identification and solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of insurance platform technologies.
Working Conditions
The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

Compensation: Salary Ranges: $51,000.00 – $85,500.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.
