Case Coordinator- Remote Operations (Topeka/Wichita, Kansas)

Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly reviews, assesses, and completes third party release recommendations related to family reunification options to inform customer release decisions.
- Makes recommendations for the most appropriate level of care within the customer’s system of care and facilitates transfers when appropriate.
- Reviews individual UC cases employing perspectives from child welfare, juvenile justice, and mental health in adherence with customer policy.
- Assists care providers and customers to recognize potential victims of trafficking.
Location:
This position is remote, but you must be a resident in the Topeka/Wichita, Kansas area.
Required:
Position requires fingerprint background checks and child abuse/neglect checks.
Requires Tier 2 Public Trust Investigation
Education and Experience:
- MA/MS in Social Work or a social science related discipline +2 years postgraduate child welfare experience, or +3 years of post-undergraduate child welfare experience
- BA/BS in Social Work or a social science related discipline and +5 years of post-degree demonstrated child welfare experience, or
- BA/BS in a non-social science related discipline and +7 years of post-degree child welfare experience
Schedule:
The Remote Operations team will function Monday-Sunday, 9 AM-9 PM Central Time, leveraging two overlapping 8-hour shifts/daily to cover the 12 hours of daily operations. Working schedule parameters include the expectation that Remote CCs’ regular schedules will always include a Saturday or a Sunday. Alternate work schedules that include both Saturday and Sunday may be an option (4/10s).
