JOB TITLE: Drop Ship Coordinator

COMPENSATION: $50K-$55K
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Drop Ship Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the Drop Ship process of customer purchase orders, ensuring seamless coordination between internal and external stakeholders. This includes reviewing and approving orders, monitoring vendor activities, scheduling deliveries, and overseeing freight movement. The position requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with both internal and external customers and vendors.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and Approve Orders: Evaluate and approve customer purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Vendor Coordination: Verify vendor acknowledgments and estimated delivery dates, ensuring alignment with project timelines and commitments.
- Production Monitoring: Regularly follow up with vendors to confirm on-time production, addressing potential delays or risks to project timelines.
- Delivery Coordination: Coordinate and schedule product deliveries in collaboration with relevant parties.
- Freight Management: Initiate, track, and monitor the movement of freight, confirming product receipt and timely billing.
- Punch Item Management: Identify, record, report, track, and schedule punch items to ensure project completion.
Requirements
- Associates degree or applicable skillset/professional experience
- Strong familiarity with Project Management fundamentals including but not limited to:
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer relations and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Skilled in critical thinking and creative problem resolution
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
