Job Description:
A Cerner EMR Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, testing, and supporting the Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This includes working closely with clinicians, administrators, and other stakeholders to:
- Gather requirements
- Translate requirements into system design specifications
- Configure the EMR system to meet specifications
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- You must have a strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and EMR systems.
- You must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Work with technical teams to ensure the EMR system is integrated with other healthcare systems and meets all regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure the system is working effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the organization.
- Responsible for providing guidance and recommendations to the organization on best practices and new technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the healthcare technology industry to ensure the EMR system is meeting the organization’s needs and providing the best possible patient care.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work setting: Remote
Experience: Cerner Analyst: 10 years (Preferred)
