Are you an experienced food and beverage event planner who knows the popular restaurants, wine bars, lounges, or venues in your city as well as the “hidden gems”? A Food and Beverage Marketer who can plan and organize events. Then we may have a great flexible opportunity for you. Wine Crawl (www.winecrawl.wine) is a private food, wine and spirits experience looking to hold 6-12 events annually in each of our cities (additionally we host private crawls that could double that number). You’d be a core member of the team working as the “on the ground” expert coordinating with our centralized ops and marketing teams.
Duties
Event Marketing Managers are a combination event planner, marketing ambassador for Wine Crawl in your city. You’ll tap into those skills to help create a fun, informative and unique experience. This is a great job for people who can combine the creative and the operational skills need to put on a great food/beverage event.
- You’ll serve as the face of the brand working the actual wine crawl guiding attendees to each stop. Keep in mind you are creating an experience that’s unique to your city.
- You’re the creator of the “Wine Crawl Experience” for your city. Something many people have never attended or been a part of.
- Your creativity is key in bringing the experience to life you’ll be part of a team with the regional coordinator, the marketing ops team and yourself driving the experience.
- Managing time and coordinating with all vendors. You’ll own the “on the ground” process the most important part of the crawl.
- Event Marketing Managers are expected to be outgoing, detail oriented, and professional at all times as you may be the only representative of the company they actually meet.
– While we don’t require you to be in the city you need to be within 20 miles (30 min. drive of the city listed). This job will require you to be on site at the events and we also need some who is adjacent to the areas we’ll be hosting in should the need arise to do walk throughs/meetings etc.
About Wine Crawl
Wine Crawl is private wine tour in select cities that includes trips to popular wine bars, wineries and restaurants. Originating as a one time event, it proved so popular that the Crawl expanded to spring summer and fall crawls and from Chicago to other cities including an annual “destination crawl” to Napa Valley. The crawls now combine gourmet food, fine wine and other guilty pleasures along the journey. Starting late 2016 the company began adding private crawls for special events. In 2023 Wine Crawl will be expanding to food, wine and spirit tours across the U.S. Cities include Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Washington DC, Raleigh, Richmond, Charlotte, Philadelphia and San Diego.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,000.00 – $10,000.00 per year
