Description & Requirements
The Infor Associate Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of cloud and on-premise ERP software implementation projects. Projects will vary in size, but the Associate PM will manage smaller, lower complex projects. You’ll need to understand customer project objectives and take ownership of Infor contractual requirements defined in the Statement of Work. You will manage resources assigned to fulfill those requirements using Infor’s implementation methodology, lead implementation planning, control project plan and overall execution, develop positive relationships with all project stakeholders creating a high level of customer satisfaction, and help the customer realize expected benefits. You will be comfortable managing teams sizes between three to fifteen or more individuals, often including offshore delivery.
Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Responsible for billable projects from initiation through delivery
- Ensuring that billable projects remain on schedule and within budget and confirm projects are completed according to agreed-upon plan
- Keeping appropriate client and Infor resources informed of project progress, completing weekly Project Status Reports, dashboard reports, participating in weekly PM meetings and communicating appropriately with client project sponsors, client department leadership, and staff
- Ensuring all project resources are identified, forecasted, and staffed
- Completing timely and accurate client invoicing and monitors outstanding receivables
- Provide team leadership including: building a team, motivating staff, aligning project requirements to resource competencies, delegating work assignments and monitoring performance
- Maintaining project financial and project profitability, to include resource scheduling, revenue forecasting per project, billing reconciliations, expense report and time approval for project work, etc
- May require communication with C-Suite and Executive level customer and Infor leadership
- Providing timely and accurate updates to all internal reporting and tracking systems
- Ensuring all project resources are identified, forecasted, and staffed
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple projects
- Internal and external communication skills including oral, written, presentation, and active listening
- Ability to confidently lead project teams and navigate complex situations
- Travel up to 30% at key phases of the project implementation. Some projects may require more based on customer needs
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading projects and knowledge of project management processes
- PMP or other Project Management certifications or course
- Infor software products use or experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience
- Remote (Dallas, TX, St. Paul, MN, Alpharetta, GA)
