With a heavy heart and a sense of despair and exhaustion, I'm Mahmoud, a 30-year-old married man and father of a little child called Adam who aged 1 year from Gaza, reaching out to you through this fundraising letter. The ongoing devastating war has left me devastated. Our once cherished home in Khan-Younis City has been reduced to ruins, forcing us to abandon it. Following security instructions, we sought refuge in the southern regions. This house, built by my father after years of hard work abroad and home, was meant to be a heaven for our beautiful family. It cost him a fortune, amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars. I personally invested time, money and effort to restore and make repairs, envisioning it as the place where I would start my married life. However, in December, we were forcibly separated from it, bidding it a tearful farewell, praying fervently for its safety and protection from harm.
