Summary
FFVA Mutual has an exciting opportunity for a workers’ compensation virtual auditor. The main responsibilities of the selected Premium Auditor will be to perform virtual (phone/email) audits with policyholders across multiple states. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, has a high level of customer service, and works well in a team setting. The individual will be able to work remotely or in an office setting. The qualified individual will report to the Premium Audit Manager and uphold the standards of FFVA.
Responsibilities
- Schedule audit appointments with policyholders, conducting them timely and accurately.
- Handle audits between $5,000 and $40,000 in premium.
- Obtain and review necessary records for proper classification of business operations and premium development.
- Handle audit disputes and effectively communicate with insureds and agency personnel.
- Correspond with insured, agent, and company personnel as needed throughout the audit process.
- Utilize technical expertise to handle complex audit issues while performing the workers’ compensation audit.
- Keep current with NCCI rules and state statutes.
- Work with the Premium Audit Manager in meeting all department goals.
- Travel to company HQ in Maitland, FL for training and company events.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two years of experience completing workers’ compensation audits
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detailed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Insurance
- Valid driver’s license
- Resides in FL, GA, or NC
