As a VIP Travel Consultant for GBT, you’ll be responsible for managing travel for some of our most exclusive clients, including business executives and renowned figures in the entertainment industry. What You’ll Do on a Typical Day

  • Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers in the US, both individuals and groups.
  • Conduct analysis and research on travel options, anticipating traveler needs to sell additional services proactively.
  • Arrange and book domestic and international business travel for air, road, rail, and accommodations.
  • Utilize one of our Global Distribution System’s (GDS).
  • Ensure compliance with customers’ travel policies, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize positive telephone service techniques and address special customer requests.
  • Prevent fraudulent callers from attempting to book trips after hours by following our security protocols.
  • Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs.
  • Native GDS expertise (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus).
  • 1+ years of corporate travel experience, including fares, ticketing, car, hotel, air, and rail for domestic and international travel.
  • Excellent professional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Act with integrity and safeguard personal traveler information.
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and independently, or with suppliers.
  • Teamwork and openness to feedback.

The US national hourly wage range for this position is from $20.00 to $35.00 per hour. The actual hourly wage rate will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
