This role is part of the business product team for the application supporting pricing operations teams. This tool is essential for a transformational underwriting initiative to drive profitability across the enterprise.
Position Summary
As a Manager, you will support the design, strategy, and build of foundational data forecasting tools for PBM pricing and underwriting functions. Responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of the business, capturing analytical requirements, and ensuring proper communication to key stakeholders. You will also play a role in business validation testing and performing data integrity checks using tools like Data Bricks, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau. Additionally, you will provide live client pricing support and train underwriting teams on utilizing information for pricing strategy development.
Responsibilities
- Leverage deep understanding of the business for accurate analytical requirement capture and communication to key stakeholders.
- Complete user acceptance testing and assist with QA to minimize live production defects in the tool.
- Develop controls and standard operating procedures for efficiency and structure within the application.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment across both legacy and new applications for consistency.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional work experience in PBM/healthcare industry.
- 3+ years of analytical experience (Excel, Tableau).
- 1+ year coding experience (SQL, SAS, or Python).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with IT and Scrum methodology.
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work across business units within a complex organization.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Experience prioritizing work and communicating effectively.
- Innovative mindset and ability to work outside of established boundaries.
- Degree related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or other data-related fields.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$63,300.00 – $136,500.00
The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geography. This position is eligible for additional CVS Health benefits, including a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
