The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead
The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead will be assigned primary functional, project, and stakeholder alignments supporting the OCM Manager. The Lead will work closely with project-focused change professionals, other US Talent Transformation (USTT) workstreams, and Consulting team members to drive consistent delivery of day-to-day change management activities. The Lead will track changes and impacts for stakeholder groups to inform the change management approach.
USTT OCM Team Responsibilities
The USTT OCM team leads the change strategy, planning, and execution for USTT workstreams by managing stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and other change interventions, while integrating and standardizing change management across the USTT landscape.
- Promoting an environment in which cultural aspirations are put at the forefront to ensure Talent professionals can flourish and realize their goals and purpose
- Creating a positive change experience and adoption of Talent strategy and initiatives
- Enabling authentic moments that matter across the talent lifecycle
Job Responsibilities:
Change Management
- Execute on the overall Organizational Change Management (OCM) approach and strategy, including developing key deliverables and work products based on scope and timeline
- Own end-to-end deliverables such as change impact assessment and communications plan, including managing timeline, liaising with training teams, taking part in design sessions, and interviewing key stakeholders
- Work within the team to conceive and develop consistent communications and change strategies/plans that are aligned with project workstreams, Talent strategies, and leading practices
- Support the implementation of change and communications strategies across the US Talent Transformation
Project Management
- Maintain working knowledge of Integrated Work Plan by coordinating across internal teams and with stakeholders to prioritize upcoming work
- Clearly and effectively communicate technical and functional understanding for business leaders, support recruitment of change champions, and facilitate adoption of technology and processes
- Develop compelling, logically structured presentations and deliverables that will be shared at the Talent organization and business leadership level
- Proactively identify risks and raise concerns to workstream OCM Manager
- Maintain awareness of current business trends, operating conditions, and internal processes/practices that have a significant impact on Talent channels
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Interact with cross-workstream leads across the USTT OCM team to understand areas of overlap and opportunities to support ongoing project activities according to workload demands
- Proactively manage group and individual stakeholder needs and concerns through ongoing engagement, eliciting stakeholder feedback, navigating stakeholder conflicts and prioritization, coordinating stakeholder groups, and analyzing stakeholder data
- Support clear and effective articulation of stakeholder concerns to project team, document OCM needs during requirements gathering, and develop change strategy/plans with business stakeholders in mind
- Work in an ambiguous/fast-paced environment to manage and respond to ad-hoc requests and proactively anticipate stakeholder needs
The Successful Candidate Will Possess:
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Practical working understanding of a variety of change management methodology and practices, technology adoption, and strategic communications methods and practices, including stakeholder analysis and readiness assessments
- Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
- Strong stakeholder/client management skills
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in large-scale change management projects or organizational transformations, including the rollout of enterprise applications (experience in SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite is a plus)
- Talent/HR systems background and a broad network across the Talent channel and/or business(es)
- Ability to advise, maintain composure during stressful times, and write succinctly to produce world-class communications
Qualifications: Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related area
- Minimum 6 years of related experience
- Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce high-quality deliverables:
- In Excel, aggregate and analyze operational data to identify insights and trends
- In PowerPoint, tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience; identify clear and actionable asks
- In Word, create clear, concise, and professional communications and resources
- In Teams, effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiency and version control
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
The wage range for this role: The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400 to $165,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
