Job Summary and Qualifications
Must work the 3rd-7th of the month (regardless of the day of the week that falls on) as needed for business purposes
Seeking a Senior Payer Analyst who will research and resolve trended payer analysis inventory including net accounts receivable (AR), government credit balances, and trended government discrepancy inventory. What you will do in this role:
- Analyze accounts and reports to identify contractual discrepancies.
- Resolve misstated balances from various payers including governmental and non-government based payers.
- Oversee daily reconciliations of accounts to ensure inventory adheres to policy standards.
- Identify trends driving inventory and proactively communicate to the department for mass resolution.
- Track and follow up on trended items to ensure resolution.
- Assist with month end reporting.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Accounts Receivable/Payer Analysis processes.
- Identify payer company trends and communicates trends to supervisor for further action.
- Be proficient in Business Objects and Excel.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree required, relevant experience may substitute degree requirement
- Master’s degree preferred
- 2 years of related experience preferred
