Summary:
Oversees and contributes to relevant capital projects. Works with Capex Team organization regarding a specific project and applies procedures within the specific scope of work (SOW). The Project Manager will support capital projects throughout Ash Grove’s West Region locations.
Contributions:
- Promotes and follows all aspects of safety guidelines (CRH safety 16 live Savings Rules) and participates in meetings.
- Leads the project from the concept design to the feasibility phase up to the execution, following the project life cycle, and maintains the company project life cycle tool.
- Develops the project’s budget, schedules, milestones pre-established contracts, and work quality in collaboration with the other discipline of the project CAPEX organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, mining, or related discipline required
- 7 or more years managing projects in heavy construction and/or process industry.
- Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
Environment:
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking
- Constant hearing, use of vision, use of computer, telephone
- Occasional driving, bending, or crouching required
