What You’ll Do:

As an Executive Benefit Consultant, you’ll partner closely with our distribution and service team partners, along with plan sponsors, to consult on non-qualified (NQ) plan design, opportunities, and participate in client facing meetings.

Here’s a few examples of the types of things you’ll do:

  • Subject matter expert on NQ plans to various audiences
  • Conduct existing plan reviews for some of our largest clients
  • Participate in finalist presentations
  • Review documents for regulatory compliance and platform compatibility

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor degree or eight years of equivalent experience
  • 3+ years related work experience in financial services consulting with non-qualified specific experience strongly preferred
  • Registration required within 6 months of hiring as a General Securities Representative (Series 7) or Investment Company and Variable Contracts Representative (Series 6)
  • Industry designations (eg CLU, ChFC, CFP, FLMI), or progress towards, preferred
  • Requires broad understanding of employee benefit programs, insurance operations, products, and concepts with the ability to apply marketing strategies and systems
  • Requires strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities
  • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to develop effective relationships and motivate producer behavior
  • Travel may be required

Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $77,400 – $147,600 / year

Job Level: We are open to hiring at a higher level based on experience.
