Job Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Relationship Manager is to drive revenue from existing accounts/portfolio. The Relationship Manager is responsible for the successful development and management of a portfolio of clients at a corporate level. This role is key to client retention and upselling, while working across all Keter departments, including Finance, Legal, Operations, and Sales. The Relationship Manager ensures a positive client experience through activities such as delivery and explanation of performance reporting, partnering with the client to roadmap sustainability goals, resolving escalated service delivery concerns, and advocating internally for client needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Owns the overall customer experience and acts as the primary point of contact for client concerns and needs.
- Gains an understanding of client priorities and the contractual requirements; creates and administers an Account Plan with each key corporate contact.
- Builds relationships and maintains alignment with key corporate contacts; facilitates corporate initiatives with internal customers.
- Distributes and advises clients on monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; produces and presents quarterly and year-end reviews with clients to highlight key information.
- Serves as a client advocate if site-level issues or concerns are escalated and maintains communication with corporate contacts through resolution.
- Collaborates with the customer and internally with department leaders to implement new customer sites while ensuring key objectives and results are achieved.
- Analyzes client financial performance through monthly review, providing variance comments and action item planning.
- Tracks, facilitates, and communicates contract renewals and billing adjustments.
- Innovates ideas relating to increased recycling and sustainability through client education.
- Increase revenue by partnering with the field team to upsell additional waste and recycling streams that Keter may not currently manage. Work with sales to create a unified strategy to upsell additional locations.
- Develops a thorough understanding of the Keter product, competitive market, and sustainability landscape; seeks and understands industry changes and anticipates effects on services provided.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma and professional experience will be highly considered.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in sales, account management, or similar role is required.
- Analytical and sales-focused.
- Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software, such as Salesforce.
Work Conditions/Physical Requirements
Hybrid home/office environment. Noise level is moderate. Ability to work after normal business hours as needed is required. Up to 50% travel is required. Overnight travel is expected 25% of the time.
