Proposal Manager Positions Available
The Business Development consulting firm is actively seeking professional Mid-level and Senior Proposal Managers to develop winning responses for Federal government proposals.
While this position offers 100% remote work, candidates must meet high expectations. Reliable systems, including video conferencing capabilities and internet access, are essential. Availability during core hours is mandatory, with a potential requirement for nights and weekends. Some face-to-face meetings will be necessary.
This is a 1099 position, and multiple positions are available.
Qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of experience managing proposals and serving as lead writer
- Create proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and compliant, annotated outlines
- Strong understanding of interpreting Federal RFPs
- Demonstrated ability to lead large proposal teams and/or manage multiple efforts simultaneously
- Support pre-proposal activities and prepare materials for Kick Off meetings, solutioning sessions, and gate reviews
- Facilitate meetings and proposal review cycles as required
- Extensive experience reviewing and shredding RFPs and multiple solicitation documents
- Create realistic proposal schedules and identify resources needed to meet deadlines
- Act as a liaison with clients and advise on compliance and responsiveness
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a Lead Writer with excellent writing, communication, and interviewing skills
- Solid understanding of message development, using creativity and strategy for compelling content
- Strong time management, organization, and communication skills
- Professional with a customer-service-oriented focus and strong presentation skills
- Excellent writing skills required
- Understanding of Shipley’s Method is required
