Job Description
Humana Healthy Horizons is seeking a Project Manager 2 to oversee enterprise-level non-technical program implementations. The Project Manager 2 will manage all aspects of the project from initiation to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget. The role involves varied work assignments, often requiring independent decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Designs, communicates, and implements operational plans for non-technical programs.
- Monitors progress against implementation plans, taking action to resolve operational issues and minimize delays.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Identifies, develops, and gathers resources for implementation.
- Prepares designs, work specifications, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Communicates with other operational areas to secure specialized resources.
- Conducts meetings and prepares reports on implementation status.
- Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates staff to meet targets and milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside in the eastern or central standard time zones in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of formal project management experience with large size initiatives implementing non-technical projects.
- 2+ years working in a managed care healthcare system.
Work at Home Requirements
- Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps recommended.
- Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection suggested; satellite, cellular, and microwave connection with leadership approval.
- Humana provides necessary telephone equipment for Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates.
- Work from a dedicated space to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Medicaid requirements and guidelines.
- PMP or PMI-ACP certifications.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Additional Information
- Travel: Role may include limited travel to a Humana office location.
- Workstyle: Remote
- Core Workdays & Hours: Typically, 8-5 pm Monday – Friday; Eastern Standard Time (EST) with flexible scheduling (i.e. occasional nights and weekends)

Pay Range
The compensation range is $63,400 – $87,400 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
