VersaTech Inc.’s Joint Effort: Government Support
VersaTech Inc. is embarking on a joint effort to support a government client. We are seeking an exceptional Program Manager to act as the primary point of contact, providing leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the program. This individual will be accountable for the quality and efficiency of the program, encompassing both technical and business processes. Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the Government’s primary point of contact
- Providing overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel
- Ensuring quality and efficiency of the task order, including technical and business aspects
- Using organizational authority to execute task order requirements
- Assigning tasks, supervising technical efforts, and managing overall program performance
- Making decisions for the contractor’s organization in response to Government issues
- Being readily available to address Government questions, concerns, and comments
- Proactively alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues
- Overseeing project resources, schedules, and risks
- Driving continual improvements through assessments, planning, and organizational capability building
- Managing and overseeing in-house and subcontractor personnel, including training and disciplinary action
Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the IT field
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification
- ITIL® Foundation and/or Practitioner Certification (ITIL® v.4 or higher)
- Agile certification such as Scrum Alliance or SAFe certified
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Management, or related discipline and at least 8 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Additionally, preferred qualifications include experience with:
- Supporting Middleware and/or Database Programs
- Managing complex information technology infrastructure involving the internet and multiple disparate network subsystems
- Supervising employees (including subcontractors) of various labor categories and skills in projects similar in size and scope
- Working in a quality assurance environment with knowledge of customer satisfaction tracking, user complaint and monitoring programs, and quality control (QC) programs
- Effective oral and written communication with the highest levels of management, including technical details
