Responsibilities:
- Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
- Manages teams of contract Support Personnel at multiple locations.
- Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
- Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.
- Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
The Program Manager will be involved in all phases of the project.
i. Phase 1: Business Process Re-Engineering
- a. Task 1: Document the “as-is” business processes
- b. Task 2: Develop an implementation plan for recommended permitting business process and system changes (Current phase)
- c. Task 3: Develop the statement of objectives
ii. Phase 2: Issue RFQ for New Permitting Solution
iii. Phase 3: Onboard contractor for system migration, configuration, and integration
iv. Phase 4: Launch new system to the public.
v. Phase 5: System maintenance and operations
PMP certification
Experience managing multi-million dollar vendor relationships
5-7 years of experience as a project lead in a cross-functional / IPT PMO
Demonstrated experience developing application / tool roadmaps
Demonstrated experience collaborating with C-level stakeholders
Acquisition planning and implementation: Experience developing requirements, PWS/SOWs, and highly technical acquisition packages, plus vendor performance management
Project management tools: experience in using project management software such as Microsoft Project or Jira, as well as knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Communication and collaboration tools: experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or Slack, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
Risk management and mitigation: experience in identifying project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and executing risk management plans.
Stakeholder management: experience in managing stakeholders and balancing their needs and expectations with project objectives.
Budget management: experience in developing and managing project budgets.

Pay: $88.00 – $98.00 per hour
