Position Summary:
The Vice President, Product Strategy is a key leadership position responsible for understanding the competitive landscape, identifying customer needs, defining key product features and functions, and delivering best-in-class solutions that outperform competitive products. This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to design product features and requirements, assess market opportunities, and support the evaluation of M&A opportunities. The VP, Product Strategy is a healthcare expert who is always looking for the best solution to today’s technology problems. This role will sit in on product demos, distilling down how different teams approach problems, and creating a compelling perspective on the best way for EnableComp to improve our product and technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy to drive innovation and maintain a best-in-class product offering. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with the company’s strategic goals.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats. Stay informed about emerging technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the healthcare revenue cycle management space.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Engage with customers and prospects to understand their pain points and needs. Translate this feedback into product development strategies and improvements to ensure EnableComp products meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a clear and achievable product roadmap that outlines the development and release schedule for new features and product enhancements.
- M&A Evaluation: Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer to assess potential merger and acquisition opportunities in the healthcare technology sector. Conduct thorough buy vs. build analyses to determine the most cost-effective and strategically advantageous approach.
- Feature and Function Definition: Lead the process of defining product features, functions, and requirements. Work closely with the product development team to ensure that the final product aligns with market needs and customer expectations.
- Market Sizing: Evaluate market opportunities and assess the potential for growth in new and existing markets. Use data-driven insights to guide decisions on product development and expansion.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, technology, and customer support, to ensure alignment of product development with business objectives and customer demands.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in product strategy, development, and product management in the healthcare technology industry.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management and understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Experience in M&A evaluation and buy vs. build analysis is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of successfully bringing products to market.
- Must have strong computer proficiency and understand how to use basic office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
