Overview
As the Senior Director of Product Management, you would be responsible for setting and owning the full product catalogue vision and strategy. You are responsible for all aspects of product strategy, optimization of portfolio and new product development. You will guide the team in creating product roadmaps and managing product launches. This role would take market and customer insights to strategically grow the product portfolio across every category. You would also evaluate white space opportunities and private brand strategies and incorporate it into existing products or create new products based on this. Additionally, you would maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners to ensure that product quality is maintained throughout the production process. You will develop commercialization strategies, manage the P&L and build a product stage gate process that engages sales, marketing, sourcing/procurement, and suppliers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee a group of product managers that are responsible for the strategic growth, development and end to end life cycle of all product lines to sustain and grow sales in the US across traditional office supply space and all adjacencies- technology, cleaning, breakroom, furniture/interiors. This includes developing and driving the commercialization strategy from product inception, stocking and inventory planning, sku set ups to sales revenue goals
- Collaborate and develop mutually beneficial strategic relationships with all product manufacturers- includes developing reporting, joint strategies and managing overall product growth plans
- Setting high level pricing strategies- monitoring, financial reporting and forecasting of all products
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Econ or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in B2B Marketing or related field
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job.
- Matrix-org experience, high degree of collaboration, ability to tell marketing stories with financial impacts.
- Strong business acumen, with experience in identifying, developing marketing strategy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners within a diverse organization.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Sound management and administrative abilities.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
