Corporate Trainer
Key Responsibilities
- Building Knowledge-Based and Performance-based learning curriculum that target stakeholders needs.
- Developing, facilitating, and maintaining a formal training program for the department that included guides, videos, assessment, and best practices resources.
- Developing scalable, comprehensive learning experiences aligned to C2P’s business objectives.
- Collaborating with other department trainers and the learning and development team.
- Staying informed with changes to workflows, procedures, and regulations around the firm.
- Proactively identifying training opportunities within the team as well as with our advisors.
- Delivering constructive feedback to trainees and management.
- Providing backup assistance for the team as needed.
- Understanding learner goals and challenges, as well as insights from analytics and customer interactions, and using them to inform design decisions.
- Using creative problem solving and design thinking to develop and enhance alternative approaches to learning experiences.
- Identifying opportunities to leverage data that can enhance and validate learning experiences.

- Demonstrated focus on continuous self-learning and exploring new trends, strategies, and practices in the learning and development field.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to self-review and meet rigorous quality standards.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Additional Skills & Knowledge
- Prior financial services experience a plus
- Experience with custodian relationships Schwab and Fidelity a plus
- Experience working in databases like Orion, Redtail and Smartoffice a plus.
- FINRA Series 7 securities registration preferred, or a willingness to obtain it.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Previous experience in instructional design technologies, adult learning, user experience, or related field developing learning experiences in a corporate environment a plus.
