Training Coordinator Position

Training Coordinator Objective:
The Training Coordinator is a dynamic and creative professional primarily focused on designing and developing engaging eLearning curricula, administering training programs, and creating visually compelling materials, presentations, and communications. This role places a significant emphasis on establishing brand recognition to internal customers through eye-catching content design.
- Meticulously track progress and seamlessly translate acquired skills into impactful training materials.
- Excel in remote and in-person settings, prioritizing motivating training delivery.
- Contribute to fostering a continuous learning culture for the overall success at SecureSpace.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver dynamic training sessions for new storage professionals through online learning platforms and in-store settings, including new employee onboarding and orientation.
- Collaborate with various departments to assess training needs and design comprehensive learning plans and curricula.
- Utilize advanced training techniques and adult learning theory to create impactful learning experiences.
- Conduct online and in-person training sessions, ensuring an environment that promotes active participation and skill retention.
- Design and implement leadership development initiatives enhancing managerial skills, strategic thinking, and team collaboration.
- Provide ongoing support to leadership in implementing acquired skills for improved team performance.
- Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions, refining content and delivery methods for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate training meetings to foster collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing among team members.
- Develop and update training materials focusing on engaging content, innovative delivery methods, and an appealing, professional look.
Other Functions:
- Willingness to travel to other company sites as necessary.
- Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Training Coordinator Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of training experience, focusing on content development, preferably in a multi-location retail or tech environment.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Results-oriented with a passion for creating impactful learning experiences.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver leadership development programs.
- Strong project management skills to organize and track the development of learning plans and programs.
- Familiarity with technology-based and remote learning methods.
- Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
- A collaborative and creative mindset with a focus on solutions-oriented approaches.
- Knowledge of Articulate 360 and TalentLMS is a plus.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the self-storage industry is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Current Driver’s License to facilitate travel – travel may be required (up to 25%).
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
