Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Deployment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for deploying and optimizing CNCF native Kubernetes clusters, ensuring their performance, scalability, and security. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy CNCF native Kubernetes clusters in on-premises environments, following best practices.
- Demonstrate expertise in CNCF projects and the Kubernetes ecosystem, including Prometheus, Envoy, Fluentd, and more, to create robust Kubernetes environments.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible to automate provisioning and management of Kubernetes clusters.
- Utilize Red Hat Satellite for efficient management, monitoring, and maintenance of Red Hat-based systems within Kubernetes environments.
- Implement Ansible Automation Platform for infrastructure and application deployment tasks in Kubernetes clusters.
- Set up and configure Prometheus and Grafana for advanced monitoring and visualization of Kubernetes clusters.
- Ensure security best practices and compliance standards in Kubernetes deployments.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate Kubernetes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide rapid troubleshooting and resolution of Kubernetes-related issues.
- Deploy and manage open source databases within Kubernetes environments, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with software vendors to evaluate and integrate third-party solutions for Kubernetes environments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of deployment procedures and best practices for Kubernetes deployments.
Qualifications:
- Experience deploying CNCF native Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Proficiency in Docker and containerization technologies.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and core components.
- RHCE certification and experience with Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with open source databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Scripting and automation skills for managing Kubernetes resources.
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Knowledge of security practices for securing Kubernetes clusters.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant CNCF certifications are a plus.
