Summarized Purpose:
Contributes to PPD’s knowledge and content management utilized by our internal commercial teams (requests for information [RFIs], proposals, business development), including stakeholders across the organization. Manages the activities required to develop processes, tools and technologies to ensure content (text, graphics, data, etc.) accurately differentiate PPD. Serves as a thought partner in the development of best-in-class, commercial-ready content through the sharing of critical insights and reviewing/editing of stakeholder-developed content.
Major job responsibilities:
- Supports and contributes to the comprehensive knowledge and content management strategy and roadmap that aligns with company priorities.
- Follows and contributes to departmental knowledge and content management processes and guidance documents.
- Curates commercial content from internal systems and content sources to populate and continuously update the knowledge and content management tools.
- Reviews and edits compelling, commercial-ready content (text, graphics, data, etc.), both new and existing, ensuring it is complete, of high quality and strategically differentiate PPD to our clients.
- Works with all commercial team members (RFIs, proposals, business development, organizational stakeholders) to identify content requirements, address content gaps, gather feedback and refine content.
- Maintains adherence to folder structure, content, naming, branding and style guide.
- Drives adoption of library through regular team updates.
- Provides day-to-day end user technical support, taking initiative to mitigate and solve small user issues.
- Supports user trainings in collaboration with the Commercial Sales Training team.
- Supports key communications to the organization through official channels to disseminate critical library information (e.g., new content).
- Escalates low adherence to content usage policies to the appropriate functional leader.
- May mentor and coach junior team members.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification. Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years).

The salary range estimated for this position is $60,000.00 – $65,000.00. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
