Highmark Companies – EDI Project Manager Position
Highmark Companies is actively seeking an experienced EDI Project Manager to join our healthcare client team in Burlington, NC. This is a full-time salaried position with comprehensive benefits, and it allows remote work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide project management support for all aspects of EDI interface implementations
- Ensure successful interaction and communication with the client, both external and internal stakeholders
- Effectively engage with software vendors involved in the implementation process
- Manage, prioritize, and escalate tasks associated with interface implementation projects as needed
- Maintain detailed and effective project documentation
- Train new Project Managers after six months of experience as a CAT PM (Concentration Area Trainer) in areas such as connectivity, testing, kick-off calls, status calls, go-live calls, etc.
Requirements:
Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent military experience and leadership
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of work experience managing EMR software implementations
Skills:
- Experience in installing and configuring computer software
- Thorough understanding and good working knowledge of MS Office – Word & Excel
- Ability to work with clients and vendors with varying technical and communication skills
- Innovative with a background in process improvement and development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, open-ended team environment with flexibility and adaptability
- Problem-solving and results-focused
- Healthcare, HL7 specs, and Healthcare Industries knowledge is helpful
Additional Information:
- Job Types: Full-time, Contract
- Pay: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
