Sales Director – Health Care

Opportunity Overview
Drummond Group has an opportunity for an aggressive Sales Hunter who will serve as the primary customer contact in the identification, engagement, and development of new and existing health IT and healthcare accounts requiring interoperability, certification, cybersecurity, and Advisory services.
Responsibilities:
- Hunt for and establish new account relationships to meet personal sales targets, emphasizing the entire portfolio of available Drummond Group services.
- Independently prospect for new customers using various lead generation and direct solicitation methods, including phone, email, and social media.
- Expand relationships with existing Drummond Health IT (EHR) customer base to cross-sell other Drummond services into these organizations.
- Use consultative selling techniques and strategies to identify customer needs, align offerings, and build long-term repeatable selling opportunities.
- Contact and reengage lapsed Drummond Group customers.
- Collaborate with Drummond business unit leaders to develop go-to-market strategies and sales campaigns for new and existing service offerings.
- Prepare written proposals, working with project delivery teams.
- Participate in associations and outside organizations for networking purposes as approved by management.
- Establish and maintain a list of contacts based on experience, historic utilization, reputation, influence and personal judgment, including supplied contacts, as well as personally developed relationships.
- Consistently use CRM (Salesforce) to support regular activity and pipeline reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and six or more years of sales “hunting” experience (or equivalent) within the health IT/healthcare or cybersecurity industries.
- Working knowledge of healthcare IT risk, security, and interoperability compliance frameworks applicable to Health IT software developers including ONC EHR certification requirements and related CMS regulations, FastHealthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Experience selling services to stakeholders in software development companies, with an understanding of product management processes and the handling of compliance requirements in relation to product development.
- Prior experience using Salesforce CRM a plus.
- Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Proven experience dealing with organizations of varying size at senior levels.
- Create clear, effective, and professional written communication and presentations.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Significant experience managing contract negotiations involving services statements of work (SOWs) and master service agreements (MSAs), including work with business and legal managers on issue resolution.
- High level of initiative and motivation, and able to work independently, to meet or exceed targeted goals with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders, prospects, and customers to exchange ideas, explain value propositions, identify business gaps Drummond can address, interpret market trends, and provide guidance.

Compensation:
The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$115,000.00. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for commission and quarterly performance-based incentive pay. Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications, location, and experience, and may vary from the range.
