Grant/Contract Administrator – Florida Based (hybrid to remote)
Position Description
Overview:
Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Florida (BBBSAF) is a statewide entity that works to increase resources and create opportunities that sustain and grow program mentoring services at each of our 11 local affiliates spanning from Pensacola to Jacksonville to Miami and Key West. Each of these affiliates provides strong, safe, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships for at-risk youth and trained, adult volunteers.
Position Summary:
The Grant/Contract Administrator coordinates the Employer’s contract and subcontract operations, including monitoring and ensuring compliance with all programmatic and financial aspects of contracts between BBBSAF, various State of Florida agencies, and BBBSAF affiliate agencies.
The Grant/Contract Administrator will ensure that the Employer’s contract processes, procedures, and implementation are executed professionally, efficiently, on schedule, and in a manner consistent with best practices. This full-time, exempt position reports to the CFO/Operations Manager.
Skills, Competencies, and Administrative Requirements:
- Liaison between State of Florida funding agencies and BBBSAF affiliate agencies regarding reporting, training, monitoring and compliance, budgeting and deliverables, expenditure and reimbursement, and contract/subcontract negotiations.
- Provide technical assistance to BBBSAF affiliate agencies to meet program and expenditure goals.
- Maintain contract files ensuring accuracy and data integrity as well as State agency and BBBAF affiliate relationship history.
- Work with CFO/Operations Manager to assist with preparation of contract-related materials for committee and board meetings.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal/ listening skills.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum three years of experience in grants or contract administration or other relevant professional experience.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Other Requirements:
- Florida resident (Ability to work remotely effectively and productively.)
