Job Summary:

iAnthus is seeking an Analyst, Operational Finance to join our team. This position is fully remote. Reporting to the Manager, Operational Finance, you will be a key contributor to the company’s end-to-end strategic planning process. Your role will involve ensuring data accuracy, producing reports, and providing crucial insights for strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing key inputs and analysis for standard cost models.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Extract and refine extensive datasets from the Company’s diverse systems.
  • Generate regular reports on essential key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing, retail, and wholesale divisions.
  • Maintain standardized reporting formats for diverse business units and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business inquiries or challenges.
  • Present findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuously enhance and automate reporting processes for operational efficiency.
  • Uphold cost models by ensuring timely updates of financial and operational data.
  • Oversee the periodic update of product costs in the Company’s POS and manufacturing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with accounting & FP&A teams on factors influencing product cost changes.
  • Enhance the model with comprehensive guidelines for efficient and accurate data collection.
  • Support management in maintaining demand & supply models integral to the Company’s Enterprise Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Leverage the company’s benchmarking platforms for insights into competitor strategies.
  • Analyze the company’s promotional calendar using historical data to assess its impact on pricing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or business with an accounting concentration.
  • 2+ years experience in an analytically focused role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Cannabis experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.
  • Experience with financial systems and ERP systems with knowledge of data structure and reporting requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel required. Familiarity with PowerBI or other data visualization software a plus.
  • Enjoys working in a start-up, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner and demonstrate sound judgment.
