Summary

The Field Account Executive is tasked with managing large customer business in the assigned market by establishing robust relationships with key stakeholders to execute strategic priorities. This role involves effective collaboration both internally and externally, influencing franchisee owner/operators, Distribution Centers (DCs), external Field Supply Chain, and Simplot cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience for strategic customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with key owner/operators and provide service support to the Field Offices.
  • Act as a liaison between distribution centers, warehouses, third-party warehouses, and Simplot internal Supply Chain teams to maintain assured supply and appropriate safety stock levels.
  • Manage all quality complaints in the restaurants and at the DCs. Provide QA support at both internal and external cuttings, in the field, and at the DCs as needed.
  • Act as a go-to resource for product information and product quality troubleshooting through extensive knowledge of the manufacturing process, as well as product procedures and execution in the restaurants.
  • Resolve customer issues by effectively partnering with Simplot Customer Service.
  • Participate in and lead Supplier Quality surveys as needed and engage in non-potato category surveys.
  • Present best-in-class training for the field using in-depth knowledge of Simplot’s products and operations, including presentations and digital tools, both in person and virtually.
  • Develop opportunities to conduct training classes in key markets to elevate consumer experience in the restaurants and positively impact repeat fry sales.
  • Build stakeholder engagement by attending conventions, market visits, supplier blitzes, and conducting field training and field office meetings in the assigned markets.

Typical Education

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university (required)

Relevant Experience

3+ years related experience and/or training

Other Information

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience within the Foodservice industry, with a successful track record in Account Management preferred.
  • 30-50% in-market travel required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish beneficial.
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems for all audiences.
  • Ability to work independently with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Time management and organizational skills while working from a home office and traveling.
  • Proactive approach and readiness for success with assigned accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and successfully multitask with proven problem-solving skills.
  • Align and collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functionally with colleagues in other departments, and external vendors to creatively solve problems and improve ways of working.
