Job Description:
Support the destination partnership team by managing and maintaining partnerships with tourism boards and convention & visitors bureaus to educate travel advisors and launch consumer-facing tactics to drive awareness and demand for partner destinations. The position requires the candidate to demonstrate excellent communication skills; speaking on phone, on webinars and in person to individuals and groups to engage attendees. Support also needed to manage air-related partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist VP with development and roll out of partnerships and strategic projects to drive partner sales and engagement
- Track all partnership activities and communicate these tactics to internal teams for execution
- Provide on-going support and communication with partners to make sure plans are being executed
- Provide support to marketing department as needed
- Manage Destination Immersions process (destination educational trips for travel advisors)
- Provide required production and back up reports to partners as needed
- Represent Signature at industry meetings and events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years work experience
- Self-starter who looks for creative solutions, is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and can prioritize projects
- Sales and customer service focused to best understand how to enhance and build relationships with partners
- Proactive and flexible team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent organizational and oral and written communications skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel
- Proficient using Zoom and/or webinar platforms
- Travel industry background preferred but not required.
