Absolute Software is actively seeking a dynamic and analytical individual to join our fast-paced Financial Planning and Analysis team. We are looking for someone with strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and a commitment to data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, calculate, and reconcile commission expenses monthly and quarterly
- Conduct detailed analysis of expense payouts, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Provide financial forecasting and commission data to leadership meetings
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial objectives
- Assist in the design and implementation of financial compensation plans
- Maintain and update compensation systems with hierarchy and plan changes
- Analyze and resolve compensation inquiries from business partners and sales leaders
- Track non-standard actions related to commission expenses
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in compensation
- 0-3 years of experience in the field
- ‘Systems’ thinker with strong logical reasoning skills
- Proactive learner with high intellectual curiosity
- Effective communicator with the ability to describe complex scenarios clearly
- Strong MS Excel skills, including complex formula-building and data analysis
- Excellent organizational skills with extreme attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience capturing and organizing data for impactful analysis
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines
