WORKING ARRANGEMENT
- Hybrid, two days in our Cleveland office preferred
- Open to remote work for the right candidates in the following registered states: Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Georgia, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Texas.

THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Analyst to join our Lottery Solutions team (https://www.mtllc.com/lotterysolutions/). You will play a pivotal role on a project team of specialists to deliver web-based solutions to lottery clients. You will support projects from presales through ongoing maintenance and support. You will help bridge the gap between business and development teams by understanding the clients’ business and needs, offering consulting support to transform goals into actionable requirements, and effectively communicating those requirements to the development team.
- Work directly with sales team to understand, identify and maximize opportunities.
- Play an advisory role on client engagements, serving as a strategic adviser to both account leads (internal) and clients (external).
- Participate in solution brainstorming and the identification of optimal approaches to delivering against client wants/needs/requirements.
- Help guide clients in defining their digital vision and goals.
- Gather and analyze requirements from the client.
- Craft and update business and functional documentation from presales to planning stages.
- Review, analyze and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow and program functions.
- Participate in the creation of accurate project estimates and scopes.
- Help nontechnical staff understand the technical implications of numerous complex client needs.
- Take initiative to research and learn emerging technologies, trends and industry developments; and share that information with fellow staff members.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, or two to four years’ related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, timeline-driven environment while maintaining industry-leading quality.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Great analytics, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Excel
