The Challenge of Brand Management at Curology

Traditional brand management roles are often slow and stagnant, focused on protecting past success rather than driving future growth. Startup brand management roles are scarce, with the C-suite handling business decisions, leaving brand marketing disconnected from business results.

At Curology, we’re changing this paradigm. We’re currently seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join us on the journey to elevate our brand, Agency, to new heights. Your role will involve supporting the Brand Lead of Agency in launching 360 marketing campaigns and enhancing our evergreen marketing across organic social, influencer collaborations, PR, and more.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist Brand Marketing Lead in developing 360 marketing strategies and the 2024 roadmap
  • Create evergreen marketing tactics for full-funnel campaigns
  • Develop and manage internal and external partnerships for organic social, influencer, and PR channels
  • Analyze day-to-day results to inform future decisions
  • Lead go-to-market launches of new products
  • Manage communication with cross-channel marketing partners and creative teams
  • Review partnership SOWs and contracts, working with Legal as needed
  • Lead the development of world-class briefs for brand campaigns and product launches
  • Bring new ideas to the team based on market trends, competitor initiatives, and emerging opportunities
  • Nurture relationships with cross-functional teams to optimize campaigns
  • Analyze business performance and derive insights for brand growth

About You:

  • Analytical with the ability to derive key insights beyond the data
  • Self-driven, thriving under pressure and quickly becoming a subject matter expert
  • Strong organizational skills, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communicator, building relationships quickly
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • 3+ Years in CPG Brand Management, bonus for DTC startup experience
  • Hunger for ideating new external partners in complementary industries
  • General awareness of/experience working with media companies, PR agencies, and influencer partners
  • Motivated by curiosity and results-driven
