Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Strategy, the Digital Marketing Strategist leads the execution of digital marketing activities for RUNNER’s medical practice clients. They play an integral role in achieving our clients’ goals and maintaining strong client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- New Account Setup: Guide our new clients through the set-up and implementation of RUNNER services.
- Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to build unique digital marketing strategies.
- Marketing Execution: Work together with other strategists, media, creatives, and developers to produce top-of-class deliverables and drive results across RUNNER’s marketing services.
- Account Service: Lead client relationships and communication, including status meetings. Ensure work is completed on-time and within budget. Oversee quality and overall impact, adjusting where needed.
- Performance Reporting: Develop and analyze monthly reports, meeting with clients to review reporting, ongoing initiatives and plan future strategies.
- Client Retention: Build a trusted strategic relationship with clients to help retain and grow business.
- Hone Your Skills: Keep up with changes in the digital marketing landscape, including tools and practices that will help our clients and agency evolve.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, minimum 2 years in an agency environment.
- Ability to grasp complex, technical concepts and communicate simply to clients.
- Hands-on experience executing digital marketing initiatives with an emphasis on content marketing, SEO, lead nurturing, email marketing, conversion rate optimization, website and landing page creation.
- Creative copywriting skills for both long-form content like website copy, blogs and whitepapers, as well as short-form copy like social posts or ad copy.
- Working knowledge of digital advertising, especially Google and Meta ads. We have another team that manages these ads, but you should know enough to contribute strategically and communicate with clients.
- Strong aptitude for analyzing and presenting marketing campaign reporting, including Google Analytics and lead pipeline reporting.
- Experience working with CRM systems (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, HighLevel, etc.)
- Experience with WordPress content management and plugins.
- Marketing automation and email marketing software experience (such as HubSpot, Marketo, etc).
- Experience planning for and creating video content.
- Familiarity using a project management platform (such as Wrike, Monday, Asana, etc.)
- Experience in healthcare/medical marketing is a plus.
