Job Opportunity: Aerospace Operations Developer
We are currently seeking an Aerospace Operations Developer to join our growing team in the US. As an Operations Developer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating air import and export operations for our aerospace customers while maintaining client development and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Perform operations with a focus on timeliness and the highest level of service to meet customer expectations.
- Provide 24/7 aircraft on ground (AOG) service level support to Aerospace customers, including nights and weekends coverage.
- Monitor and manage shipments, keeping customers informed of export/import/domestic details following SOP’s.
- Execute import and export processes for Air, international, domestic, and OTR transport modes.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Ensure compliance with US regulations for international shipments and other legal and administrative requirements.
- Communicate with carriers, origin, and destination agents regarding shipment status, special handling, and delivery processes, providing shipping instructions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business and/or 3-5 years of operations experience in logistics.
- Knowledge and experience with air freight and compliance procedures.
- Commitment to excellence and strong customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills for frequent interaction with customers and different functions/levels.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Passion, initiative, and a result-oriented drive with a focus on creativity and innovation.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, effectively manage time, and meet deadlines.
- Process and task-oriented with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Punctuality and dependability with exceptional planning and organizational skills.
