Account Manager for AI Products

Description:

The Account Manager for AI Products will work in close partnership with the Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer and the Prometric Sales team to manage the Generate and Catalog client accounts. The goal is to ensure the smooth onboarding, management, and execution of projects. This individual must be flexible, self-starting, self-organized, and exhibit proactive, rigorous follow-through. This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about assessment and innovative technologies, gets satisfaction from creating optimal customer experience, and has outstanding detail-oriented follow-through skills. Furthermore, it would be beneficial for this individual to have industry experience in item authoring and managing work for multiple projects at a time.

Reports to:

Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer, working very closely with the Generate Senior Product Manager and other Product Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer projects and interactions for our two AI products, Generate and Catalog
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients and projects, including gathering requirements, conducting meetings, and establishing clear timelines and expectations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
  • Understand clients’ business objectives, goals, and challenges to help guide tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to create a plan of action that aligns with their business objectives, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Administer the projects on a day-to-day basis: Be responsible for client communication, schedule client meetings, be the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries, setup and manage access to secure file-sharing system and client materials.
  • Be the point of contact for internal team members responsible for client success, such as the AI scientists, software developers, psychometricians, product, and sales.
  • Proactively monitor client accounts, identifying potential issues or areas for improvement, and offering solutions or recommendations to optimize their experience.
  • Proactively reaching out to customers to get ahead of new blueprints and make it more of a service
  • Schedule and execute client trainings.
  • Be a product expert. Be independent enough to be a point of contact and answer most customer questions without help from the measurement, technology, or product teams.

Skills and Requirements:

Must Have

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management, preferably with a focus on client onboarding and success.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving Skills: Proven ability to identify and resolve client challenges, leveraging resources and internal teams as needed.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand clients’ business goals and develop viable strategic account plans to drive their success.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with our industry and a quick learner when it comes to understanding our products and services.
  • Detail orientation: Be the person to notice the typo in the email – this role will require a keen eye for detail.
  • Responsiveness and sense of urgency: In any client-oriented work, we want our account manager to have a respect for deadlines and urgency in answering questions.
  • Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative Nature: Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in AI: While experience with AI products is preferred, we’d rather a person with a lot of passion for the product than the experience.
  • Experience in technology: We would rather have a person enthusiastic to learn, but experience is preferred.
