Senior Product Strategist – Innovations in Electronic Enrollment

Join our team as a Product Manager I and play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of business objectives around electronic enrollment. You’ll be responsible for the detailed facilitation and technology delivery to achieve specific business outcomes. In this dynamic role, you’ll not only manage day-to-day requirements, programs, and special features but also foster collaboration across multiple departments including go-to-market, operations, and technology teams.   • Deeply understand customers, technology, and competition, and synthesize into the operational product roadmaps driving business outcomes through technology enablement and innovation.
  • Work closely with technology and business stakeholders to craft simple, elegant, impactful experiences.
  • Integrate user research studies, analytics, and market analysis into product requirements.
  • Participate in standups, retrospectives, design reviews, user research, and demos.
  • Drive the overall vision and success across technology delivery teams, including both agile scrum teams and existing systems support teams.
  • Organize Sprint Planning & Grooming ceremonies at the team level.
  • Determine if iteration outcome is acceptable from functional/non-functional aspects.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure an efficient & productive daily stand-up takes place (can designate a facilitator); provides input into product backlog prioritization.
  • Prepare solid product definition and ensure all required artifacts are developed. Analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
  • Create stories/tasks and assign them to the scrum team. Additionally, flag dependencies & risks for the stories/features.


  • 2+ years of related experience w/ Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant product management experience preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare electronic enrollment EDI 834 preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development framework, architecture concepts, and terminology.
  • Experience and/or accreditation in Scaled Agile a plus.
  • Ability to effectively and actively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong deductive reasoning and attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of customer service to consistently and effectively address customer needs.
  • High comfort level interacting with colleagues and with various levels of client organizations.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced & dynamic environment under tight timelines, while adaptive to change.
  • Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information and adhere to data security and confidentiality protocols and procedures.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $74,000 – $170,900
