Claims Adjuster Position
We are actively seeking experienced Claims Adjusters to join our team and contribute to delivering the best customer experience in the pet insurance business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Adjudicate assigned claims following pet policy Terms & Conditions
- Review medical records, lab results, invoices, and claims forms
- Process claims determinations and payments
- Verify claims coverage
- Consult with veterinary practices on medical records evaluation
- Maintain quality assurance and productivity standards
Required Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of disease processes and veterinary terminology
- Ability to read and interpret veterinary medical records
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Independent remote work capability
- Superior communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a veterinary technician
- Bachelor’s degree in veterinary science OR CVT or equivalent (preferred)
- Property and Casualty Adjuster license (preferred)
- Completion of state adjuster licensing
- Reliability with good attendance
- Ability to work a minimum of 42 hours per week, with occasional weekends and extra hours
Home Office Requirements
- Subscription to reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum of 100 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload speed)
- A quiet, dedicated workspace in your home
- Office setup accommodating dual monitors, laptop, mouse, keyboard, and headset
- Ability to set up and connect equipment with remote IT team assistance
