Join Our Team as a Technical Application Support Analyst
We are expanding our Core Director Implementations team and seeking a Technical Application Support Analyst. This unique role involves providing services for new and existing customers of Jack Henry’s Core Director core banking solution. Your responsibilities will include assisting with software implementations, installing and configuring new servers, and deploying software updates and release upgrades. Strong technical, analytical, and customer service skills are essential as you collaborate with financial institutions and their 3rd party IT vendors on software installations or upgrades.
- Perform necessary analysis to develop automation specifications for projects.
- Define system and functional requirements.
- Implement and monitor implementation projects from initiation through delivery.
- Ensure completion of implementation projects on schedule.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure correct migration of changes into production.
- Interact with technical teams to convey business requirements.
- Perform application, system, and regression tests.
- Maintain effective communication with customers to project completion.
- Provide assistance in training, staff meetings, and internal documentation or procedures.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Minimum of 5 years of IT experience providing technical troubleshooting or support.
- Technical experience with Microsoft Windows Servers (2016/2019/2021).
- Ability to work after hours and on weekends for server upgrades and replacements as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 30% for implementations, training, or meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
It would be nice if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a CIS-related discipline.
- Microsoft PowerShell Scripting experience.
- Jack Henry Core Director application experience.
