The Iris Systems Integration Business Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, and controls
- Implementing and customizing healthcare system interfaces as well as providing level 3 support for associated interfaces
- Researching problems, testing, training, and documenting best practices
- Applying knowledge of clinical healthcare applications to assist hospital clients in support of implementation and maintenance of owned or newly purchased software products
- Identifying and correcting program errors
- Preparing operating instructions
- Working with outside vendors on interface engine specifications and developing desired interfaces
- Provide technical and strategic direction to enable the Customer’s business objectives
Required Skills:
- Ensemble/Iris interface engine experience a must
- 3+ years experience working with the HL7 interface standards
- 2+ years experience working with interface engines
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Project Management experience
Desired Skills:
- Healthcare operational experience preferably in an acute care environment
- Clinical experience in the use of Pharmacy, Radiology, Lab, or similar systems is desired
- Healthcare computer operations experience
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience
