Overview:
Avenica is currently evaluating talent for a Provider Healthcare Representative in the health insurance industry. In this role, you would be responsible for handling inbound calls from both providers or their office support staff. This role involves the use of multiple platforms on the computer to assist with inquiries. No degree required! This role will start in January.
Responsibilities for Provider Healthcare Representative:
- Supports and maintains positive relationships with healthcare professionals within the network
- Provide assistance regarding education, contract questions, and non-routine claim issues
- Coordinates communications process on such issues as administrative and medical policy, reimbursement, and provider utilization patterns
- Assists providers in contract compliance and credentialing issues, and preparation or modification of provider contracts
- Completing tasks (i.e., documentation and data entry) with accuracy and efficiency
Requirements for Provider Healthcare Representative:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full time: this is a full-time role, 40hrs/week.
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the US; Avenica is unable to provide sponsorship at this time
- 1+ year of Previous Outbound or Inbound Call Center experience
- Prior experience working in a dental or medical healthcare environment
- Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology
- Experience in a virtual working environment
- Ability to receive information from dental/medical terms and communicate it to others in a clear manner
- Ability to meet high standards for attendance
