JOB SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Manager position is to execute efficient and cost-effective methods in accounts receivable resolution through leadership and personnel management of the teams and Team Lead(s) assigned. The core responsibilities of this leadership role involve monitoring and managing both the individual and team performance, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met, including Team Leads(s) assessment and direction of staff. This position holds additional duties related to trend analysis and performance management of client standards including days in AR, payments collected and denial management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain strong client relationships; address issues/needs delivered by client and provide accurate feedback to both client and SSC departments
- Assess opportunities to improve internal workflows; ensure best methods and tools are utilized
- Examine reimbursement and denial patterns within assigned AR; recognize trends, suggest and implement innovative solutions
- Compile consistent reporting statistics to document team performance
- Conduct meetings with staff members to deliver results related to productivity and quality; discuss coaching and development needs
- Perform quality assurance checks and monitor teamwork loads and productivity
- Prepare performance evaluations and action plans to document and communicate individual staff and Team Lead(s) performance
- Interview candidates for open positions within team structure and Mentor Supervisors and Leads
- Ensure all team members adhere to internal SSC policies/procedures
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

- Previous experience with LSS preferred and EPIC required
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 and HCPCS codes
- Fluent knowledge of entire revenue cycle process
- Sharp intelligence of government payors and other commercial/managed care carrier rules and processes in a professional billing environment
- Extensive skill with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to multi-task and recognize trends to effectively work in AR
- Flexible; able to adapt to change
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6-8 years in healthcare collections and/or healthcare related field
- Minimum of 6 years previous personnel management experience

Compensation and Benefit Information
Compensation
Pay: $56,784.00-$85,176.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
