Job Summary:
We’re seeking a Warranty Analyst. The business unit supports the APU, Tanker, F135, F119, F117, F100, TF33, and J52 engine programs within the Military Engines organization.
The Warranty Analyst will manage the investigation process for engines, controls, parts, or Support Equipment that fail in the field, are involved in an aircraft mishap or safety incident. In this role, you will also administer contract warranty provisions, defective product recalls, approved Special Support Requests, and contract guarantee provisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contractual and technical validation of warranty claims
- Provide exhibit disposition instructions to the customer Issuing work authorizations/service purchase orders to P&W module centers and vendors
- Manage government property/customer-owned material for engineering and quality investigations and repair
- Determine warranty part repair or replacement
- Administer the domestic and international shipping of exhibits and replacement or repaired parts
- Forecast material requirements to meet contractual turnaround times; financial cost monitoring and implementation of corrective actions to avoid costs overruns
- Provide warranty status reports; participate in customer meetings
- Administration of Export and ITAR compliance and controls
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in an analytical, project management, or business support role in a manufacturing environment is required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline strongly preferred
- Experience in aviation with general industry business knowledge that includes contracts, technical aptitude, finance, inventory, spares, or manufacturing operations experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- SAP experience is a plus, but not required
- Self-motivated and possess strong analytical and technical skills
- Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment and work through problems to resolution

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD – 124,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
